Alexis Baldeon

Alex is a fifth-year Ph.D. Candidate in the Division of Nutritional Sciences. In 2014, he received his B.S. in Biology and a minor in chemistry from Denison University before moving to Boston for five years where he worked in various pre-clinical and clinical research projects at MIT & Harvard teaching hospitals. His dissertation research investigates the impact of almond consumption on the human gastrointestinal microbiome and human health by analyzing multi-omics data generated from a randomized clinical trial by the USDA. He is also the lead on the ongoing SNACKing Clinical Trial (NCT04223323).
