Alex is a third-year graduate student in the Division of Nutritional Sciences. In 2014, he received his B.S. in Biology and a minor in chemistry from Denison University before moving to Boston for five years where he worked in pre-clinical and clinical research at MIT & Partners HealthCare. His current project involves analyzing publicly available American Gut data, finding links between diet quality and the gut microbiota. He is also a lead on the ongoing SNACKing Clinical Trial (NCT04223323).
